New South Africa - Interview with a Hijacker 1
BackIn South Africa, a shopping trip to the Mall could easily be the last one you'll ever make. This bizarre tale is reminiscent of "Interview with a vampire". It offers an insight into the psyche of a young black man, who reveals the motivations behind a group of criminals, who contribute to the fear and frustration of ordinary South Africans. He was in possession of a bursary to study further, therefore he did have the opportunity to achieve something in life through honest, hard work. Instead he chose to take the possessions, and sometimes the lives, of hardworking people. Like real life vampires, these men suck their victims dry, then go and waste their spoils in night clubs, not caring whether they live or die. Confronted by someone like that with a gun pointed at you, has to be one of the most terrifying experiences in the world.
