Agreed, I sense a REAL communist revolution coming as proposed by Marx in every sense of the theory. Not only will we have energy but REAL FREEDOMS as well. It will be just up to the people to make it happen. I think the very reason the elite suppress these kinds of technologies is because of the fact that this technological revolution will pave the way for the socialist stage of man (which is then the precursor for the communist stage).

5: OK then lets go solar. Approx $50,000 for a complete system. You need to stay in the house for 20yrs just to get your money back, supposedly solar panels have a planned obsolescence of 20-30yrs. (I'll need to recheck those #s but it's something like that) Do you really think all of this is by chance & that with all of the other advancements around you that this is the best we can do in 2008?

4: As far as existing EV's (not hybrids). If you want an EV that will go 70MPH with a 300mile range you will spend $100,000.00 so why not buy a good used Chevy Astrovan with a good solid frame under it for $3,000.00 and use the $97,000.00 for gasoline? Do you see how these many options are not practical & force people to drive the antique concept of the internal combustion engine?

3: They are reporting increases in mileage, the batteries will last longer if kept topped off but then calculate saved mileage to the cost of battery replacement. It's a system to boost car sales & only make the public think that advancements are being made when the public are spending more money in the long run

2: This would have been the end of the internal combustion engine. GE then pulled the plug, recalled all leased EV-1s shredded them then sold controlling shares of the battery to the gas & oil companies who shelved the invention Because they had 60% shares the inventor could do nothing. The hybrid car is a scam. The car costs significantly more to buy, they originally could not plug in which the grid is significantly cheaper to charge an EV than running a gas engine to charge the batteries.

1: To answer the rest of your questions. Guess who owns all of the major battery technology, the oil & gas companies. GM & big oil are bed buddies, GM bought controlling shares in the top of the line battery for the 1980's to place in the EV-1 after they changed out the defective Delco batteries. The inventor of this superior battery further improved the battery so that a bank of batteries in the EV cost less than an engine and would last the life of the car.

D: You see, when your only world is, I work at McDonalds for 10yrs just to be a manager is a completely different world then running a corporation, Lobbying for laws to benefit your corporation, paying off politicians to look the other way and hiring a few goons to prevent competition from putting you out of business.
